Im in my second day of Uni at Sheffield Hallam, doing Bsc Computing. Went out with 6 girls from my flat and the one below to the union. Theres a lot of scousers and geordies about. Catherine from my flat knew Anne Marie from the flat below before she came, and they both know about 4 others from college/work etc at Hallam. Everyone seems fine in the immediate flats though, so no worries.
Another thing is that at uni, it seems like people are obliged to chat to complete randomers. You make so many friends like that. It used to make me lol when Lukeski would stumble about town doing the same sort of thing, talking to bums and middle aged women.
At night I went out with the six girls and queued like a mother in the rain for the union. At the end of the night, they had a disco where you bought wireless headphones for a £5 deposit. you had two channels to choose from, one for each DJ on the stage. One was playing indie/rock, and the other played cheese and dance, including some Daft Punk *slurp slurp*. If you took you headphones off, all you heard was everyone singing different things.
Dont know what Im doing tonight, spoke on voip to CollyDog, soon to set up his own journal of outrageous antics; a la CollyBlog. Bonjour, non?
